The user types in their into and thats it right? Well... no.
Logins often go unnoticed, but to say they have no impact on user experience would be a massive oversight. To start I went through every login/account recovery I could. A good login scenario offers two major benefits to the overall user experince of an application.
The most obvious benefit is the security given to a user.
The less obvious benefit is that login scenarios offer opportunities for an applocation to engage with the user on a personal level.
Applications with good login scenarios treat the usere differently based on the circumstances in which they are logging in. To do this they create userflows for each common scenario that a user may encounter.
Returning User
A user who has used the app before and has previously logged in on the current device.
New User
A brand new user who has never used the app before and does not have an account
New User
A user with login info but a new device that they haven’t previously logged into
(Personal device)
Users encounter this scenario more than any other by far making it our primary use case.

With my research and definitions done it was time to start developing visuals. I started out by creating wireframes gor each of my main states within my user flows.
